Everything is measured from downtown Puyallup. Inside 10 miles there is no travel fee. Between 10 and 17 miles there is a $45 one, quoted before we drive. Past 17 miles we tell you so and name someone closer.

Every distance on this page is measured in a straight line from downtown Puyallup, not along the road. Road distance runs roughly 1.3 to 1.5 times higher, which is why the bands look tighter than a drive time would suggest. Federal Way is 9.5 mi in a straight line and about 14 by road, and it is comfortably in the core area either way.
We work in straight lines because it is the only measure that is the same for everybody. A drive time band would move with the traffic on 512 and would mean one thing at 6am and something else entirely at 5pm.

Past 17 miles we say no, and we say it straight away rather than three phone calls later. A van that far out is an hour of the day gone each way, and that hour comes out of the next customer's window rather than ours.
A no is a real answer, not an error. It comes with the distance and the nearest town we do cover, measured from you rather than from us.
